Hillcrest Park is our rural 6-acre holiday park in Teesdale, nestled between the North Pennines AONB and the Yorkshire Dales.
Surrounded by farmland, we offer peace, tranquillity and beautiful views of Teesdale – yet we are only 10mins from the A66. We are ideal for walkers, cyclists, dog owners or anyone just looking for a relaxing, rural break. Hillcrest is situated handily close to both Richmond and Barnard Castle, within easy reach of many Dales attractions, as well as the historic cities of Durham and York. Further afield, both the Lakes and Yorkshire coastline are all doable daytrips.
We have holiday cottages, seasonal pitches, holiday lodges for sale as well as camping pods. Most importantly, we aim to offer all our guests a comfortable, peaceful rural getaway.
We hope to open on 12 April on a limited capacity basis to ensure social distancing can be kept. We will be opening the showers/loos, but only for the use of podders to ensure compliance with regulations. We will not be opening the kitchen facility or shop, nor will we be hiring out airbeds.
The cottages are all self-contained
We (Ed and Kate Nichols) have owned and run Hillcrest Park since March 2011. We started with three cottages and a few touring pitches, but over time we have gradually expanded and we now have five holiday cottages, 20 touring pitches, 10 glamping pods, and now holiday lodges for sale.Read More »
